What should I do to reduce my system cost?

Solution
I can't save ya money on the case but I can get you upgraded 3 steps for the same $59.99

500R = $139.99 - $40 newegg discount - $20 MIR - $$20 promotional gift card w/ purchase, ends 5/26

I'd like to see you move to Z97 but the budget isn't there.... however, again I can get you a better MoBo for less money

MSI Z87 GD65 = $187.99 - $20 newegg discount - $10% 0ff f w/ promo code 52MEMDAY12, ends 5/26 (-$16.80) - $20 MIR = $131.19 ..... so big upgrade and ya saved $3

But getting the MoBo, RAM and CPU in this combo saves ya another $31

I would recommend a PSU upgrade from the CX series.

What would you recommend I upgrade my PSU to that would justify the cost of upgrading?

I appreciate the motherboard recommendation and I went out and bought it.

No, you bought the G45 .... at least that is what is in ya partpicker list. The GD65 is the "big brother" to the G45 ($137) and usually sells for about $165 (Now $131) .... it's the functional equivalent of the $200 Asus Hero. The G45 is a great board too....it's won over 40 awards, but the GD65 is a significant step up and cheaper with current specials....plus ya save another $30 in the combo
