Basically my PC is 5 months old, got it for christmas, it should run certain games like Payday 2 and Watchdogs, but it doesnt and i dont know why, it has been like this since i got it and i need to get this sorted because i cant play the games i want because they arent running smoothly.
My PC Specs :
Processor - Intel (R) core (TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz
RAM - 8.00GB (7.89 GB Usable)
System Type - 64 Bit
GPU - GeForce GTX 650
OS - Windows 8.1

I have updated all my drivers, and i have checked on Can You Run It and all the games should run with ease.

Please help me, thanks.

If they are not running smoothly, you may need to turn down some settings.

A 650 is a mid level card at best so higher settings are not going to work very well.

You can try to turn down your resolution of the games as well.

Closest I can test with is a 650 ti on an i5 750. Now I know i need to turn down settings to keep frame rates up on that card and it is faster than the normal 650.

I think I only have the first payday game and I am not sure I would run it on my system(the 650 ti one, but never tried it to be honest).

It wont let me open control panel, it says " You are currently not using a display attached to a NVIDIA GPU"

This very much sounds like you are connected to the onboard video port if you have one.

Can you please confirm you are connected to the 650 and not the motherboard's video port.

This image was for sound cards, but you can see and HDMI port(above the audio plugs next to the optical audio) on the board as well as the video cards plugs(DVI - DVI - miniHDMI).

and just so you know the amount of ram available has nothing to do with it messing up when you have trouble opening things or installing or the like its usually the ram
