So here's what's for definite in my pc:
1)Mobo-M5A99x
2)CPU-AMD FX 8320
3)PSU-800w
4)RAM-8gb
I have numbered them so you can point out what ones I should change (only given specific model names to important ones e.g mobo and CPU)
Here's what I don't know about:
5) GPU - I don't know whether to get:
•GTX 770 (Asus or gigabyte)
•R9 290x- Saphire AMD Tri-x
Here's what I'm not sure about:
A) I'm concerned about the whole system being too poor to support the r9 290x let alone them in crossfire
B) Budget is a real issue, I want bang for my buck, is the extra £30 to get a r9 290x worth it?
C) Do I need a 800w psu? I was gonna get one to support future crossfires, but what do you think?
D) Budget is a real issue, I'm already way over considering £200 on top of it for a 120hz monitor. Any suggestions on how to cut down price?
total system will cost around £900 with monitor, but then I have to get a copy of windows through other means, as well as a keyboard and possibly a new pc case!
I'm scared I'm gonna buy a £280 gpu which isn't ping to give any extra performance over a £200 gpu because of a bad CPU! I would upgrade to an i5, but I am already too tight to spare another £50.
I don't know how my pc build has nearly reached £1000, I really don't. It's mainly down to the gpu and monitor. But equally needed. I have been told that only 120hz monitors display above 60 fps. So there's no point getting a system capable of hundreds I I get a monitor which hinders it.
Budget is my main crisis here. Help meh
