Try a Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo cpu cooler instead of the Zalman - cheaper, better reviews

Try an Asus Z97-A motherboard instead. Problems reported with the Hero on these forums.

Get 1866 ram - only a few dollars more

For that build, with the gtx770, you only need a 600W power supply. Get a good one, preferably from Tier One - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...

Have a look at - http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=3060&ga...
Your proposed pc should work really well.

How much of a difference will 1866 RAM make from 1600???

Not much. But there's not much price difference these days so most people figure its worth doing.
