I am planning on building my first pc after previously buying everything prebuilt. I am willing to put some money into it (about $1400), and I think I have it pretty finalized. However, this is my first time building a desktop, so I don't know if these parts are good or even compatible with each other. I know you guys are more educated on the topic than I am, so I am asking you guys. Here are pictures i screenshotted of my newegg shopping cart (using gyazo since i don't think you can upload pictures on this site)

Thanks guys!

Looks good. You could step back to the i5 4670k and step up on your GPU. It will be a bottleneck far before the CPU. It is also a "k" model so you can put a slight over clock on it if things ever seem slow.
