Is upgrading worth the money right now?

I built my computer about 2 years ago and didn't get the best PSU it seems.

ADDED: .
I bought a
-Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus - 700W Power Supply

But according to this site and some other reviews these PSU's are bad and unreliable. Im planning on upgrading to a higher end Graphics card in the future so I 1)want to know if I even need to and 2) what should I go for? I would like something in the range of 50-150 dollars and 700+ watts

Yea do you need my current specs of my whole computer?

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 1GB
Cooler Master HAF 922
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
GIGABYTE GA-Z77MX-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
With and SSD and HDD

I found this review on their 600 watts PSU (I know you have the 700 watts PSU) - http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Cooler-Master-eXtreme-Power-Plus-600-W-Power-Supply-Review/1034

These comments are from Tom's - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/345662-28-cooler-master-extreme-power-700w-good (not very encouraging).

Based on the above I suggest replacing the PSU with a good brand PSU. Your system needs a minimum of 500 watts and 28 Amps on the 12 V rail. I never recommend minimums.

I suggest his PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095

You may want to upgrade the PSU then...but its hard to tell without your specs. But...overall, for me 2 years is time to upgrade for me... some people upgrade every month. >.<
