Hi, I am running a Asus M5a97 Motherboard with a 850 Thermal Take +80 Powersupply. My current GPU is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti "EVGA" brand. I am wanting to upgrade to a more modern video card from EVGA like the 760 Ti? I was wondering if the current motherboard I have with powersupply would handle the upgrade without a fuss? or do I need to upgrade my entire computer system. My CPU is AMD FX-8150 Also running 16gb of Corsair Vengance ram.

Thanks

Your PSU is more than enough to handle one :D

What about bottleneck? from a 3.0 pci card.. like that 760.. to a 2.0 motherboard like I have? I am kinda new at understanding these upgrades and trying to understand more.

Praticulary a 2.0 PCIe x16 = 3.0 PCIe x8. The difference between them is only the amount of data per second can go through the slots and right now with the current lineup of graphics card, they don't use the full 3.0 PCIe bandwidth so using 2.0 PCIe slots will not bottleneck your gpu but maybe within a couple years it will with future graphics cards.
