I am looking to rebuild my computer from scratch, with a purchase deadline of June 30. My previous computer died from "old age."
My budget range is 2000.00, which I consider a soft cap. I will exceed this if the components require them. I will not be needing monitors.
My use centers on work, which includes voice recognition software and a minimum of 3 monitors (4 would be ideal). While work is the primary function of the computer, gaming will most likely take up the majority of the time.
I will not be recycling components.
I will be running windows 8 and will not need to purchase a copy.
I will be shopping newegg and amazon out of preference. I am in the eastern US.
I will be overclocking this system.
I have left video below blank....I ask for your help in deciding between Geforce or Radeon, 1 card versus SLI/Crossfire. I am leaning towards the 2 cards for multi-monitor support.
I do not care about visual aesthetics or noise. I will be alone in my office with headphones on.
I appreciate any suggestions I can get. I dont have the time as I once did to keep up with all of the updates and new technology. All below thoughts are negotiable, with a purchase date of before June 30 the only absolute.
