Hi,
I want to buy a backplate for my Asus GTX 660 ti, after searching the web, I can't find any backplate for the 660 ti. However I found that the 760 backplate is available, how do I know if it's compatible with my 660 ti? does it have to be made by the same manufacturer and be the same model in order to be compatible?

I guess the 760 chip has its differences to the 660 ti therefore probably won't be compatible, but still I want to make sure.
I feel a little hesitant to buy it since it would say EVGA 760 instead of ASUS 660 ti, but I'll deal with it I guess.

Any advice? thanks in advance :)

There are 6 different GTX 660 Tis.... use the cooling configurator to figure out which one ya need. Some have backplates some don't. I got a 1/6 chance of guessing right

ASUS GTX660-TI-DC2T-2GD5 GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 (90YV0360-M0NA00)
uses a backplate for the 670 = EK-FC670 GTX DCII Backplate - Black [3831109856833]

Now its a given that this backplate screws into the matching EK water block.... whether they match up with the Asus air cooler is a question for EK

Might try the EK section (ask Derick) on OCN
