Hello,

According to AMD website, the R7 240 and R7 250 require NO additional power connections, gets all power from PCI-E Slot

Corsair VS450 should be good for that video card, and i would say maximum of 1 6pin or 1 6+2 pin given the wattage.

Hope this helps

Hello Again,

The LAST thing you want to do is skimp on your power supply - buy a 450W+ from a reputable manufacturer.

Hope this helps

That graphics card doesn't need extra power connections.

As for your second question, why don't you try doing some research yourself - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (under Specifications)

The R7 240 has very LOW power requirements and 'should' work fine with your 400W power supply
