Hey guys! i have an ASUS F2A85-M mo-bo with an AMD A8-6600K and a PowerColor Radeon HD6670, can i put another graphic card like a Radeon R9 280x to work with the other one in the same mo-bo??

well the mo-bo has 2 PCIEx16 slots for them, so i was wondering if the A8 would be able to handle both, or if those 2 graphics card would improve the overall performance

An apu would bottleneck a multi gpu configuration like crazy. I wouldnt not recommend it and no you cannot use a 280x with a 6670 you would need 2 280x's and even then you wouldnt be able to fully utilize them because your cpu is lacking so much

Yeah, it'll work. Also, you don't need the same exact cards to do Crossfire. They just need to be from the same series, which yours would unfortunately would not be.

The only time you need the same exact card is for Nvidia's SLI, though they don't need to be from the same maker. They just need to be the same chip with the same amount of RAM. So two 780s with 3 GB of RAM will work even if one is MSI and the other ASUS (even if they have different clock speeds, which will make them both run at the lower speed). But it would not work if you tried to pair a 680 with a 780 or a 780 3 GB with a 780 6 GB.
