Hello,

I currently have the fans setup as
-3 x 120mm exhaust at the top: "AF0032 thermaltake"
-3 x 140mm Intake : Phanteks fh140sp "Rear/ buttom/Mid side of HDD/SDD"
-Hyper 212 Evo

And i have 2 extra phantek fans lying around.

Its like this one just with the rear fan blowing in instead.

What would be a good way to mod it for better cooling ? Is it worth drilling the side panel "vibration/noise etc.." ?

I was thinking of 3-4 ways to go about it;

1. Add 2 fans to the side panel window below the Gpu area like this;

2. Replace Hyper 212 evo with Corsair H100i or TTwater 3.0 or H100 and use 2 of the current upper exhausts for making push/pull config.

3. Do #2 + Add 2 phantek fans near the Cpu area and below gpu area like this;

No.1 is the cheapest, No.2 is the easiest, No.3 has both 1&2 benefits/Costs ?

Thoughts, recommendations, tips plz ?

Thanks!

My suggestion off the top of my head is #1 with your rear fan setup on what I presume is a Liquid cooling unit.Switchthe flowto the rear.
I assume you have air conditioning that you run in your house. This will give you what is called "Negative Flow Cooling".

To do the best Possible job in case cooling one needs to understand (Negative Flow vs Positive Flow) cooling.
This you can Google. Also to achieve either you need to Know how much C,F.M., Cubic Feet Per minute of air you Fans push.
So there is a bit of science involved. Few Know or care about it. You can start learning now.
But to do this right I would need to know the cfm of each of your fans. Then the best decision can be made.

For the 3 120mm exhaust fans at the top:
Fan Speed 1800±10%R.P.M.
Max. Air Flow 70.2CFM
Max. Air Pressure 2.41MM-H2O

The 3 intake 140mm fans: Rear/InsideButtom/HDD-SDD Side
Fan Speed 1200 ± 250 rpm
Max Airflow 82.1 CFM
Static Pressure 1.33mm H2O

" " "i do not have a liquid unit, the pic was just an example similer to my build fan placements" " "

So first i will flip the rear fan to blow air out and make one of the exhaust fans to be intake "Orange at top 3rd from left" ? Then what should i do ontop of that from the 3 options ?

I will learn more about negative and positive balance. Seems like a very important thing that i did not know about.

Thanks alot!
