hey, I have an asus p67 b3 I believe, and im pretty sure that it fried. im looking to replace it, but since I dont really want to buy a new cpu as well id like to.get an lga 1155. so what would be the best motherboard at this point. or should I just get a new motherboard and cpu all together. and im lookong to.spend like 500$ on a motherboard and.cpu together.

One of the sticks may not have been fully seated or the CPU cooler may have been too tight on one side or in one corner, that can unbalance the CPU so it doesn't make a full connection to the pins which often affects the MC (memory controller)

Which two? That can be a lot of things, bad MC on the CPU, improper install of the CPU HS, bad sticks, wrong slots, numerous possibilities

well, it was both the a slots, and not a cpu pin bend at all, i could only use the b slots.
then i went and wrote on asrocks forum sites and i was told to check for bend pins which i did etc, and i then tried 1 ram block in all of the slots and one at a time worked there, so i tried my other ram block in all of the slots and it worked aswell..
then i put them in 1a and 1b and they now run in dual without a dang problem, it do scare me a bit that i never found out what startet the issue.
and i got quiet anoyed when i first booted up and the led indicated error 55. and rebootet itself.
