New R9 270x Doubts!

I recently bought R9 270x for my pc and I wanted to know which drivers should I install for it. Also, how should I enable Mantle for Battlefield and switch to dx later?

My configuration-
CPU- AMD FX-6300
Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2
Ram- 8 Gb
PSU- VS 550W
Hard Disk- 1TB Seagate (7200RPM)
SSD- Samsung 840 Series 120 GB

The Mantle API is a part of the Catalyst software suite so you won't need to enable or disable. It will run alongside any other API like direct X or what have you.

I suggest always running the latest drivers, which I believe is 14.4 right now, unless you encounter any difficulties then I think you should roll back to the previous release.
You can always find previous Catalyst drivers at Guru 3d.

I saw a video on youtube in which a guy first runs Battlefield on dx and then on mantle. He also added that mantle on r9 270x isn't great. So I would prefer running my game on dx rather than mantle. How should I do it?
