Developer specifications are a joke, ubisoft said in the first place w_d needed i7/fx 8350 for ultra, 8350 is totally worth the 3 fps more than i3 on ultra at 70+ fps already.

GTA V is a last gen console game, and will come with specs to match. Any old quad core, and anything over a 8800gtx will do.

Of course you have your Rockstar incompetency when it comes to anythnig pc related to consider.

That's exactly where I'm coming from. We all know how bad the GTA IV port was and how poorly it ran on builds that far exceeded the minimum spec. GTA V may be last-gen, but it's one of the platform's final games and is also five years ahead of GTA IV, so it's logical that the minimum spec will be much higher.

The 8800 GTX was released in 2006 and was the recommended GPU for GTA IV, so it's doubtful that it will run GTA V at a playable frame rate, if it ever arrives.
