Hi Everyone,

I'm building a new PC and as a first-time system builder I have a few questions, mainly about compatibility. First off, this is my build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K
MB: ASRock Z87-Extreme3
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 2GB (N760OC-2GD)
Case: Cooler Master Carbide SPEC-02 Black (CCSPEC-02) with 2 Cooler Master Black System Fans
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo
SSD: SAMSUNG 840BW EVO 120GB
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB
Wireless Receiver: TP-Link Wireless Nano USB Adaptor (TL-WN725N)
Optical Drive: ASUS 24x DVD-RW Black OEM

These are the things I already have:

PSU: Cooler Master 80 Plus Gold 525W
RAM: Patriot Signature DDR3-1333 8GB (2x 4GB)
Bluetooth Receiver: Logitech Stock Bluetooth Receiver
Keyboard: Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth Keyboard
Mouse: HP Laser Gaming Mouse
Windows 8.1 Pro

Firstly, I would like to know if there are any compatibility issues in this build - Mainly, if that CPU Cooler and GPU will fit in that case. I would also like to know if there is a problem with using that PSU as I am not sure if 525W is enough. I may overclock my CPU in a few years to 3.8 - 4GHz if I can however it is not really necessary.

I will mainly be using this for games and video editing on a 23inch 1680x1050 display and will be playing games such as Planetside 2, Titanfall and Watchdogs.

Secondly, my friend was given a Kingston 8GB 1866Mhz RAM stick however he has 2 Dual Channel 4GB 1333 Mhz RAM already in his PC. Would it be better to install the single 8GB stick or keep the dual channel kit in his PC as programs run faster with dual channel or replace it with the higher speed single stick?

I live in Australia and the prices of components here are fairly higher than in the US so I use MSY's Ipswich-Bundamba site for my parts.

This is the first time I have posted on these forums so I apologize if I have done something wrong.

Thanks!

Rig looks good and all compatible........on the DRAM think the 1866 might be a bit better, can try benching it both ways and see which runs better
