AMD FX-6300 & Zotac GTX 780 & ASRock 970 Extreme 4

Hey guys,
I am wondering if this is the right combination. I am also thinking of SLI the gpu in the future, is possible or do I need more upgrades to do it.

interesting question ......... i have a r9 290 with a fx 6300 it runs quite good.i think oc"ed fx6300 can run a gtx 780

The bottleneck will be your CPU. If you OC the crap out of it with some decent cooling you'll be good though. If you want to do some video editing, DNA folding, or trying to do some heavy decryption work then up your CPU. For gaming you'll be good though

I heard a high end GPU + 6300 causes a lot of low fps compared to say a i5.

not really i have a r9 290 paired with fx 6300 i do get some low fps ...but it happens in few games

evga has better quality and lifetime.... zotac is a a great company tooo...

Go for a 8320. That can overclock nicely. It overclocks almost the same as the 8350.

Ya.currently the fx 8320 is the best bang for buck you can get .1.point..if you want to overclock loof a cpu cooler likye 212.

I think you would be better off with an i5 4440, a Z97 extreme3 for CF/SLI capability on the cheap, and an R9 290. It would be a more balanced system and have an upgrade path. AM3+ is a dead end.

get a fx 8320 + asus sabertooth if you have the money ...and of course a liquid cooler to get the benifit from the mobo....
