GTX660 driver failed

Hello to everyone. I was actually doing great this morning playing Dialo 3 Reaper of Souls, but i saw this notification saying there's an Update for my GTX660, problem occurred when upon Installation, it say the driver was and cannot be installed and that was it. I tried possible way i can and i even tried to install the original CD software but to no avail. Darn it, i wished i'd never clicked that update button LOL. But seriously can anyone help or advise me on this one?

Did you download the correct driver for your operating system etc... ?

Anyway, easiest way to update Nvidia graphics driver, is to go to Nvidia's website for the drivers, select the appropriate data regarding your GPU & OS etc... download & save the new driver to your PC, don't install it yet. Then go into Control panel -> programs add/remove & find the "Nvidia graphics driver" entry, uninstall just that, let it do it's thing & then reboot when prompted. Upon reboot, ignore Windows updating the driver automatically, and find the driver you downloaded earlier. Run that, let it do it's thing & then reboot when prompted. Done.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah i did as i have mentioned it above I've also tried installing the Driver CD installer but nothing seems to be working. I don't know if it this could be the work of a possible Virus or any Malware but I did everyting by the Book and nothing seems to be working fine. I'm really quite disappointed right now hayzzzzzzz
