i bought a new cpu ... its got an intel pentium(R)Dual Core processor , 2 gb ddr3 ram ... inbuilt 1gb graphics ..., directx 11 .., win 7 64bit ... 500 gb hdd ... i got this new problem ... when i play games .., espeacially san andreas .. the gameplay just gets struck ... ive played it on my old computer which has got pentium4 , 1gb ddr1 ram .., directx 9 .., win xp 32bit ..nd no inbuilt graphics .... nd i never had this problem on that computer !!... i searched for the cause on tom's hardware and got it was a thermal issue ... then i installed two cpu fans .., one is a normal one and the other is a PWM fan ... then i played the game again .. it went well for a few more minutes ... bt then it got struck again !!.. it is so annoying !!.... please help me ...

what game is this?

of course, a modern pentium dual core has fairly weak graphics on the built-in gpu. an old Pentium-D would be even worse

but my old pc also had an integrated one ... just now i removed my old pc and found nothing like a dedicated graphic card .... what do i do now ??... do i hav to get a dedicated one to solve this issue ??... is this really the graphic problem or is this connected to that freaking thermal issue too ??...

What game are you trying to run?

the game not working could also be that it's too old to run on a modrn PC. Games written for DOS, win 95, and Win 98 have trouble with modern pcs

GTA? yes, you want a dedicated gpu.

The pentium G should run it ok, but won't play with the on-board graphics as anything but a slideshow

ok, this isn't that new a design, but can probly still play GTA. What sort of budget can you throw at the GPU?

If you can swing US$150-ish, a GTX 750i would be perfect

he's on a Core2-era Pentium, wants to play GTA San Andreas. 750ti will be best because it will run on just about any power supply (no need to change it, in other words), and it won't be too bottlenecked by the older CPU
