Now I am sure this is more of a general linux question, but here it goes:
I am trying to find out if there is hardware diagnostics and back up software that anyone would recommend for Linux. Computer is having OS issues, so I wanted to boot to Linux and
A: back up all of my data
B: do a hardware diagnostic in order to make sure it is the OS and not my hard drive failing.
