I have just finished building my first PC. I've installed everything to the best of my understanding, following the manuals and some guides online, but when I plug it into the wall, nothing happens. I've checked that all the switchhes are on.

It doesn't even get the brief flash of power I've seen described in other threads. There's absolutely nothing at all. I am very concerned that I might have damaged something or have a faulty component, but I feel as though there's some extremely simple thing I've overlooked or placed incorrectly as it's my first time.

Here are some photos of the inside I took for this thread before I start disassembling it and building it again. Hopefully, someone can spot where my mistake is? I have no idea, and like I said before I feel like there's something obvious. Please let me know if I've done everything right, so I know to start testing individual components.

Sorry for the low quality pictures; I can get clearer ones or clarify any details if needed. Things might be hard to see because I intended to sort out cable management after I could get the PC to boot once.

I've done all of those things, and I wasn't sure of connecting those headers for the case buttons so I watched the motherboard manufacturer's video on it and followed that exactly. Should I disconnect those and try reconnecting them again?

Actually I've been building in a room that isn't the one where the computer will be set up (there's no space for building in that room). To test the PC I had to unplug a lamp, and the lamp has always been recieving power.
