Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me on this one. I have an old motherboard XFX i790 SLI Ultra. I am still doing ok with it. Running 2 x GTX660i in SLI. I managed to finish Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, and most recently Wolfenstein - the New Order in high setting. I only had a slight stutter problem at the beginning of each level. After that, smooth all the way through till the new level. CPU is QX9650 and 8gb ram, 1.5TB for boot drive, 1 TB for storage (was 1.5 TB but died, this is a new drive). OK, guys, will it be a silly thing to do if I install a Readycache by Scandisk into this system? The whole time I didn't go for SSD was due to the price. Now the price is down but they are all SATA III and my motherboard is SATA II. So, instead of going for a SSD and rebuild, what about this little gem called Readycache. It is only £30 and seems to do the job. What do you all think? Many thanks for your help?
