The specification for each of the SATA connectors is shown in the manual, section 2.2
You can download the manual from here:

i asked how to check if sata 6 has been enabled or not! its connected to the blue ones....are the marvel
s better than intel 6 ports. what would you recommend? when you boot up the system, staus is unconfirmed. sata6 option is not written in post.

For the SSD you are better to connect to one of the intel SATAIII 6Gb/s port (white), because the intel one is better than the marvel one.
For the DVD you need to connect to one of the intel SATAII 3Gb/s port if you need the DVD for boot drive to install the windows.
For the 3xHDD, you can use the rest intel SATA or the marvel SATA port, because no single hard drive can spin fast enough to saturate a SATAII 3Gb/s port.

The maximum data transfer rate of a SATA 2 port is 3Gb/s (300MB/s).
The maximum data transfer rate of a SATA 3 port is 6Gb/s (600MB/s).

As long as you plug in the HDD into SATA port, the port will active, if you want to check their benchmark, then you can run the software like AS SSD for SSD, or ATTO, or HD tune.
