Msvcr100.dll missing, can't play the game daylight spent 5+ hours already trying

I want to play daylight, however my computer keeps saying that I'm missing msvcr100.dll . I downloaded every microsoft visual update I could, I updated my drivers and windows is also 100% up to date. I'm hoping there's someone who can help me out. I'd really appreciate!

Edit: I'm having directX 11 installed as well. I'm playing on an alienware m17x r3
Edit 2: After the msvcr100.dll error it gives a fatal 0x0 error
Edit 3: I'm having a 64 bit system

Install this. It is the C++ Redistributable Package 2010.

Pick the file named vcredist_x64.exe

Is it giving you the error while installing or running? It seems all solutions are pointing to the same thing. If running the game gives you the error, have you uninstalled the game, uninstalled all instances of microsoft visual c++ re-install microsoft visual c++, re-installed the game? (sorry for run on sentence) sorry I can't be of more help...

I reinstalled it a couple of times, the microsoft visuals as well.. Unfortunately it didn't work.

And it gives an error when loading the game, I can change settings, start a new game etc. but it just crashes after loading
