Yeah, of course. The PS4 and XBOX one all run x86 code just like PC. I think because games will be optimized to run on all 8 of Jaguars cores, that an i7 with hyper-threading will run games better in the...

Looks pretty good to me. If you only plan on doing mild overclocks the CM 212 Evo is good but if you plan on overclocking your CPU a lot then grab a Noctua NH-D14. Also the 750w psu you chose would work for SLI gtx 770s but I would go for 850w especially if you plan to OC everything. If you don't plan to SLI another gtx 770 then a good 550-650w power supply would be sufficient.

As it is, the system is very good.

It does look like you are trying to save as much money as you can.

If this is that case then I'd recommend getting a cheaper SSD. The Samsung EVO series is excellent but if you wanted to save about $25/$10 then you could get the Kingston V300 120GB

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107 ($75)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A1ZTZOG/ ($60)

It's up to you if you want to save the cash. :)

I like it, not too much different than my 2 1/2 year old build. i7 and a 680 w/SSD, w/16gb 1600 ram. I would recommend 1866 speed memory, it seems to be the sweet spot. I like that you got the 4gb version of the 770. Look at naughty dogs, 2gb is too little it seems. The new haswell i7 4790k can hit 4.4 turbo stock. I would get that and OC it to 5ghz +. Consoles are using more cores AND more importantly the same code as PCs more cores and hyperthreading is better for the long run IMHO.

Yeah, of course. The PS4 and XBOX one all run x86 code just like PC. I think because games will be optimized to run on all 8 of Jaguars cores, that an i7 with hyper-threading will run games better in the future. But the i5s do have 4 cores, and I'm certain the y will do well too. Some will say that the i7 is overkill for gaming, and right now that is true. But I am just speculating about the future. I would wait if I were you IF you can. The newest i7 is clocked high, releasing in September rumored.

Also check out this link, an i7 with 6 cores and unlocked for 300-350, DDR4, X99 chipset... hell yeah.

I would definitely get a 6 core for 300-350, Its rumored out in sept. If you wait you could save the extra money needed to build this system. :)
