For some reason my Router's PPP internet is offline which means I cannot add things into my DMZ, I really need this to be fixed it has been giving me a few problems with the internet and stuff. There is a connect button to connect to PPP Internet but it always fails for some reason. I appreciate any help, thanks

My internet is working flawlessly but the PPP internet is offline for some reason. I put my Wii U into the DMZ then the strangest thing happened all of my internet enabled technology didn't have internet except for my Wii U and PC (The DMZ thing worked BTW) I did some stuff just fiddled with my Wii U internet connection settings and took my Wii U out of the DMZ then all my internet enabled stuff got internet again but some how I put my Wii U into the DMZ and nothing bad happened my Wii U worked and all of my other stuff worked too but every once in a while my Wii U would always take itself out of the DMZ like it was affecting something but I kept putting it back in and it all worked again, it kept dropping out of the DMZ at that point I didn't give a shit any more, a day past, then my PPP Internet just stopped working and now I cannot add my Wii U into the DMZ

I have never updated my router before and it never did anything wrong it has worked till day one without any updates and beside the point I can't even update it, I don't know howIf your router interface (menus and stuff you see when you login to your router) doesn't have an option I would poke around on the manufacturers website page for the routher and look for any firmware updates and the tools to do it with. You could also buy a new router that is more serviceable for your needs as ISP OEM routers are usually pretty bad and firmware is most often pretty buggy and sloppily written.
If a firmware update doesn't help I'd look for another router. The one I currently use is a 3rd gen Apple Airport Extreme (it was a gift from a friend when my old WNDR3700 gave out) but I'd recommend something like an asus RT-N66U or its bigger brother the RT-AC66U.
