Hi,

I currently have a Corsair GS 600W, and wondered whether or not I would need to upgrade it to crossfire these two cards. (Radeon R9 280 MSI and HIS HD 7950 IceQ Boost)

i7-4770K @ 4.4GHz
NXZT Phantom Enthusiast full tower (has fan controller, so added it to the list)
Seagate Barracuda HDD
Samsung 840 SSD
Kingston HyperX Genesis DDR3 (2x4GB)
6 fans

Thanks in advance!

As mentioned previously, 750W would be enough. As for the brand, get something from Antec, XFX, Seasonic or Corsair (TX, HX and AX series only).

What would be your budget for the power supply? (In your local currency if you're not from the US please).

hmm might just wait a while now instead. Or to be honest, do you think I would benefit from just selling my current 7950, and getting a single more powerful card, rather than shelling out on a new PSU and an R9 280?

Hard to say...

I would probably get a single more powerful card like the GTX 780 or the R9 290; A little bit less power but also less issues.

a single card have better drivers but as you can see the cf 7950 beats the gtx 780ti, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzkfzfE2iGg
