Set RAM Timings?

I have a PC17000 quad chanel kit from Mushkin (Red Line) that is spec'd for 2,133 Mhz at 1.65v with timings of 9-11-11-28 (CAS9).

I've gone in and manually entered all that information in the UEFI of my motherboard, and everything works really well.

My question is whether it's worth it to drop the frequency or voltages to try lowering the timings. I don't know much about this, but from what I read lower latency timings tend to show better performance than higher clock speeds.

My use scenario is mostly image editing (large files), but I also use the computer for gaming and as an HTPC. The most important type of performance to me would be the kind where I would use a lot of RAM. Building panoramas in Photoshop gets close to maxing out my 32 GB, so that's where I'd be interested in finding performance if there is any to be had.

I'm also fine with leaving it the way it is, since the RAM sticks are all running at spec right now. What do you think? Is it worth tweaking? A lot of what I read has to do with gaming, which doesn't benefit much from RAM, so I don't know about other use scenarios. I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks!

Leave it that way , you wouldn't notice a difference with the lower settings anyways.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I couldn't really even notice a difference between the default of 1,600 Mhz for the chipset and the 2,100 Mhz that the kit is meant to run at.
