Just a few changes to get under the $1400 number, a better power supply, wireless adapter, and GPU. Also threw in the TX3 cooler to keep the CPU very cool, but also very quiet. Try to stay away from XFX if you can, and Gigabyte's Windforce is very good at keeping the 290 cool
I like it looks good. If i were you i would get a better PSU you only really need like 600 watts probably a lot less for that. I would recommend a corsair TX 650 its a better quality PSU and it has more than enough power for around the same price as the rosewill you picked out.

Thank you both very much. I'm fairly new to custom builds, and I just took a cookie-cutter recommendation and tweaked it a bit. HighTechProphet, I will certainly look at your list and take it into consideration. Any other advice from community members is always appreciated, and I will still take suggestions until I build this PC in about 5 weeks from now. Also, the budget has a +- $50 range.
