Can I overclock my Intel i7 3820?

Solution
i7 3820 i would say its a semi-unlocked cpu. the multiplier, can be increased but only by a few points. if you want to further the o/c ability you must increase the BCLK Frequency (default 100) so (multiplier) x (BCLK Frequency) = Ghz

If your chip isn't a 'k' version, not very much at all, maybe 100-200 mhz.

If your chip is a 'k' version, every chip clocks different. But we would need to know motherboard, power supply, and what exactly your 'water cooling' is?

Is your water cooling a Corsair H55, H110, custom d5 vario pump, res, raystorm cpu water block, ect.?

Pretty sure if he had a custom water loop he would know if he could overclock his processor.
