Is the intel 4440 good enough for gaming and home use (pairing it with GTX 780 Ti)
Gonna use it for general web browsing and office program's, as well as some basic programming in Visual Basic, Python etc. also gonna do some gaming (thats why I'm getting a MONSTER GPU).
Am gonna do some recording via shadowplay and share online, pretty much no photo or video editing/processing,
Is this CPU sufficient with the aforementioned GPU and 8GB of RAM, am very curious and confused on this matter,
Want a definite answer with justification please
Thanks for all your help

I bought an I5 around 4 years ago and it is still going well. That is using it pretty much everyday for games etc Only looking to change now as i am wanting a better one.

Yes the core for core and clock for clock the I5 is better than the 6300 and 8XXX AMD CPU's when it comes to gaming.

When you say how long will it last what do you mean? How long before the CPU physically before it breaks or how long before it becomes obsolete? Physically the CPU will last pretty much forever. The other parts will long be dead before the CPU dies. If you mean in terms of how long will it last before it becomes obsolete that really depends. There is no such thing as future proofing one way or the other it will become obsolete. The average for most people is about 4 to 5 years.but some upgrade sooner and some wait longer. I am still using an I5 2500K for my main gaming computer. It is a couple of years old so I decided overclock it. With an easy overclock it is still great and I don't plan on changing it anytime soon despite it's age.
