I had my system stable at both 4.2Ghz @ 1.18v and 4.4Ghz @ 1.28v. I stress tested for 12 hours and never had any problems. My motherboard, a MSI Z87-GD65 started making an odd buzzing noise. Having it still in warranty, I decided to RMA. Unfortunately, MSI's horrible RMA experience left me with a completely dead motherboard. So I decided to go out and buy a Asus Maximus VI Hero. Setting up my system with this motherboard I cannot get my system stable at anything but stock clocks. I have tried upping to voltage up to 1.3v but I will still get whea_uncorrectable_error 0x124. Does anyone have any idea why I am having so many problems with the new Asus board? Everything else is the same, CPU, PSU, GPU etc.

CPU: i5 4670k
PSU: Corsair AX760
GPU: GTX 660 Ti SLI
