Last PC Broke down, So I'm pretty much splashing out and having an update by re-building a new machine.

So far I've brought
MSI R9 280x Graphic Card
Corsair CX750 Power Supply Unit
212 Evo CPU Cooler
8GB of DDR3 Ram
Zelman Z3 Plus Case

Its been suggested by a friend that I buy This processor -
Intel Core i5 4570 Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.20GHz, 6MB, Haswell, 84W, Intel Graphics, BX80646I54570, 4th Generation Intel Core, Turbo Boost Technology 2.0)

And this Motherboard -

MSI Z87-G45-GAMING ATX Motherboard (Intel Z87, 4x DDR3, DVI, HDMI, 6x USB3.0, GBE LAN, LGA1150 Socket)

Just want to get a few opinions before I make my purchases. Is this 100% compatible/good match?

Thanks! :)

Malaki what would you change about to make it better?
At the moment, around £250 ($420) for the both is about my budget right now.
I can't expect too much better for that price, right?

So that would be the best option for me mate yeah? Better than the one my friend suggested?

I don't mind adding 10 or so quid for the second one you suggested if its better than the first.

In that price range yeah. The 4670k is the go to gaming CPU and being that is unlocked you can Overclock. Gigabyte make great MOBOs for a reasonable price and is my go to company as far as boards go. click on my link though and look around on pcpartpicker. You might find another one you like more. any thing asus, asrock, or gigabyte is generally good.

Hope that helps :)

Is it also normal to get charged 30 quid VAT from Aria.com?

Edit - Thats cool man, I'll take your word on it and pickup those parts tomorrow I'm not tech-smart at all so I prefer to get peoples opinions on what to and what not to do so I dont make big mistakes, lol

Ah right, I just found what I think is the identical Processor on Amazon for around the same price and I wont be paying that nasty added VAT. This is the correct one isnt it?

Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.40GHz, 6MB, Haswell, 84W, Intel Graphics, BX80646I74770, 4th Generation Intel Core, Turbo Boost Technology 2.0)

If its correct I'll purchase that now quickly before I go to bed, I'll purchase the board now also!

I was also warned about the PSU but It was a bit too late as I had already purchased it I'm afraid, Itll be ok I hope? And thanks for the tips+help man!
