Is the ASUS VS228H-P 22-Inch Full-HD 5ms LED-Lit LCD Monitor good for gaming?

I agree with what i7Baby said. If your budget allows it I would recommend the ASUS VE248H or maybe even the BenQ GL2760H, both of which are under $200. For gaming, you are going to want a display that has a low response time. The VS228H-P has a response time of about 5ms, which may seem like a small time, but other monitors, like the ones that I have mentioned have response times of around 2ms.


I also was wondering what a high or low contrast ratio means for gaming? I recently was looking at this site and I was suprised by the variation in ratios, ranging from 2M:1 to 50M:1. Is a higher or lower ratio better for gaming? Thanks in advanced. :)
