my toshiba A505 randomly charges. sometimes it will charge when I plug it in, but most of the time it won't

My toshiba charges randomly . sometimes it charges and sometimes it wont. And it wont work even if I have the battery unattached.

check the power pin if it lose or broken a laptop wont power on right. also check the ac brick and wires. if there broken or twisted then the brick cant get power to the laptop. if you have a friend or a local store that has a volt meter have them check the dc output of the brick or try another brick.

Will this laptop work without the battery. I tore it down to the power jack (new), motherboard (replaced w/ used one) and power switch (new) and I can't get the fan to turn on or any life. I have tried so many things. The AC adapter is delivering the correct 19.5 volts to the power jack. I am about to send the motherboard back to the guy I bought it from on ebay
