Difference between Nvidia and AMD's GPUs

Hi , well i actually bought fx8320 previously , and i was thinking about upgrading my Radeon 6770 into powerful 2gb Card , but am kinda confused with which one to choose , amd or Nvidia
let's talk from the temp. view ...
i know 2 cards in amd , but i dunno about nvidia , these cards are r9 270x and 280x
can someone help me to pick a card in their price range or more by ... 0~25 $ ?
thx in advance , if there is anything am missing with my problem ... tell me
my budget is from 300~350 $

The nvidia competitor in that price range is the 770. It is very similar to the 280x but I would prefer it. It's basically brand preference though.

Forget the 270x if that's your budget the 280x and 770 are the only two cards you should be considering

nVidia or AMD , Both have their fans , as for me , I love both.
GTX 770 is preferred here.

For your budget, I would get the gtx 770. I prefer evga, but you can't really go wrong with msi, gigabyte, or asus.

Okay .. about that new update for Watchdogs issue ... Nvidia should be better in this case , right ???

Well, theoretically the 770 should be better in this case, but these graphic/driver issues should be sorted out for AMD soon.

Regardless, the 770 is still the card I would recommend for your budget.

Go with Nvidia for the drivers, lower noise, and unique technologies. Since you're open to switching from AMD, it's probably worth it just so you can finally try out PhysX, Adaptive VSync, and some of the other add-ons.
