So my computer kinda died. It all started with the computer freezing so i shut it down with the power button on the computer case. after that when i tried starting it back up it would get to "windows starting" screen where the little windows logo appears then shut down and do it again and again. I thought that it might of been the windows so i tried to re-install it but during the installation process it needed to restart and after it restarted i wasnt able to get back to the installation as it would just try to turn on and would shut down and then turn back on and so on, even if i would boot it from a cd. And then at one point it just turned off and would start back up. If i press the power button it would get power for a second and then turn off, and if i press the button again nothing would happen unless u pull the power cord and plug it back in. I also did the paper clip thing to the Power supply, and it turns on so i guess the power supply is okay. So what else should i try? Thank you.

I don't have any easy way to test a component besides plugging it into a system that is working. If you have a friend with a compatible system you could ask to swap out parts, but other than that you would need a bench unit to test them or take them to a repair shop.
