I'm an architecture student and need to submit a project soon.
I'm trying to use lumion 4.0 but my pc but it says that "shader model 3 was not detected to work on this graphics card. Lumion needs a minimum shader model 3 capable graphics card"
I check my pc's graphic card on GPU-Z

PC-
Windows 7
Intel i7-3770 CPU 3.4GHz
64-bit
8GB RAM

GRAPHIC CARD-
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Shader: 512 unified
DirectX support: 11.2/ SM5.0
Memory Size: 1024 MB

Well it's written DirectX support: 11.2/ SM5.0 so SM5.0 means Shader Model 5?
I've seen somewhere where i need to enable CUDA on my GPU... anyone knows how?
Here's a link about the same problem as mine.

Thanks.

Solution
The card definitely has shader model 5.0.

As specified in the thread you linked, make sure all previous versions of the software are removed.

It looks like it supports Radeon GPUs, so I'm not sure why they're talking about CUDA.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
