So I just finished installing my water cooling loop, I have the xspc raystorm cpu waterblock and I just realised

it has an in and an out for the flow of the water. It will be a real pain in the assto change it now it's installed and filled with water.

My question is does this matter or make a difference ? I can't find any information on the difference this has would love it if somebody could shed some light on this

Cheers

You men labeled in and out? I doubt that it makes a difference, I have never checked with my water blocks and they work fine.

Yeah it's labeled in and out, and I accidentally connected the in to the out. But yeah I can't seem to understand how or why it would make a difference. If the CPU block 'In' was more centrally located upon the waterblock then I would understand it, but to me it looks symmetrical

Well I honestly cannot see it making a notable difference. I'm running my 4670k at 4.8 Ghz at 1.4 V. Cache at 4.5 with 1.25V and my highest temperature after running Aida64 for 2 hours was 76 degrees. 20-30 degrees idle.

On my Apogee HD it makes no difference.
