Cost to build a PC to run most games on max, next gen games on Medium

Hey, first post, never looked into building a computer, but before I start doing any hardcore research I'd like to see if fitting it into my college budget is even a little bit feasible! I'd only find building a gaming PC worth it if I could run most games already out on max settings, and be able to run next gen games to be coming out in the next few years at Medium on the lowest, all at a steady 60FPS. I made the mistake of overpaying for an Alienware m17x laptop, which has quickly become useless with it's 460M GPU; the realization that I could have built a top end PC for the money spent on that laptop is depressing. Anyway, I will not make that mistake again, but being a college student working to pay rent, loans and car payments, if I couldn't afford to build a solid gaming rig which could perform to the aforementioned specifications for ~$650 (could possibly go up to 700, would prefer to go down to 600) then I will just put the PC building idea on the backburner for now. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks! If it's possible, I'll start doing research on which parts to get and how to build ASAP, but being extremely busy I'd rather not waste time researching for a couple hours when I'm sure many of you could quickly answer.

This is the $700 build I'd get:

If you need a mouse, keyboard, operating system and monitor its going to be very hard on that budget yo get what you want. Your looking at $600-800 just for the pc, os is $90, standard mouse and keyboard maybe $50 for combo and monitor maybe another $80-$150 depending.on your needs

The build above is good but you will need to add cost of the things your missing.

may i ask, why did yiu include the core i5 4590 such as many people have major issues with that processor, i have to atleast reccommend a I5 4690 for $20 more and is much better in many forms, such as TIM (Thermal Interface Material) and just overall quality is much better

"How was I supposed to watch those videos on the 9th of June?" ??? elaborate for me

an, yeah plenty ill make a post later that'll have some
right now im goin to sleep

The post you originally responded to was written on the 9th of June. You said that the quality of the i5-4590 is inferior to that of the 4690 and asked why I recommended it. Both of the videos you linked were made way after the 9th of June, so it's not like I could have watched those before I made my recommendation.

Provide a link to something that I could have actually read before the 9th of June and I'll admit that it was a bad recommendation.
