im gonna be gaming on 1440p.
i7baby you really think the 290 is the better solution against the 780ti at 1440p? cuz of the extra vram i suppose? (altho most if not all , of the benchmarks i saw were in favor of the 780 ti GHz edition from gigabyte) I could use some extra insight/details.

for 1440p, yes the R9 290X is better. I bought my R9 290X over the GTX 780Ti for the same reason, 1440p. The extra Vram and wider bus has it's advantage for greater resolutions. Get the R9 290X!
