D-Link 730 is working after update on wireless

I was trying to update my D-link 730 over the wireless and it did update but is not responding to any commands only on button is working and it only showing battery icon. what could be the solution to this problem? I forgot to use usb when updating.

Have you tried the simple stuff like pulling the battery while it's switched on, then putting it back and switching it on again?

(just turning it off and back on won't cut it, it has to be a battery pull while it's turned on).
