mouse quit after a system restore. continued

Hello,
I received an email from a Moderator that I needed more information concerning the mouse doesn't work on my computer. in the 2 threads I've posted I've explained everything that I know about this issue. I did a system restore and the mouse stopped working. I tried two others they don't work either. logitech sent me a new mouse it does work either. but all 4 work on my other 2 hard drives a 250 gig and an 80gig drive. see the previous two posts for detailed info.
can I please have some help ??
I'm using the 80gig at the moment.

Going by what you described, you should install the chipset drivers, then go into Device Manager and check for any errors. Is it only a mouse that does not work? Every other USB device is fine? You can look for any HID or Mice entries in Device Manager and delete them, then reboot. See if the helps.
