Hi,

I built a computer last year and I've been a bit disappointed with its performance when playing games such as Bioshock Infinite, it gets a bit choppy when a lots going on. I'm guessing this is due to using a 1440p monitor. So, I was thinking about either upgrading my graphics card or buying another MSI GTX 770. I am looking for a little advice about what would be the best choice.

Here is my current specification:

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I wouldn't buy another 770 because of the 2GB of RAM, at 1440p you want more than that and I believe that is where your problem lies. I run a 7970 at 1440p just fine which is on par with a 770 but has more RAM which might be why I have a smoother experience.

I would go for a 290, 290x, or 780.

I monitor the RAM usage of my GPU when I am using it and on several games I use more than 2GB of RAM.

it is tue however to acutaly gain preformance in most scenarioes over a second 770 he would have to spend significantly more and assuming you dont go crazy with antiailisng or texture you should be fine and quite francly it doesent make sense to start over when a second 770 would be good enough

That makes sense if you can nab a 770 for a good price.
