I have a HIS HD 7850 on a Msi 970A-G46 mobo. I recently flashed the mobo to be compatible with Windows 8 and set it to run the Windows 8 feature. This worked perfectly and seemed to increase performance... until I upgraded my RAM to 2x4GB G.Skill Ares series 1600mhz modules. After installing, I can no longer use the Windows 8 feature and receive the following error during the POST: "non-Windows 8 Logo Graphic Card. There is no GOP support detected in this card"".
I've checked the RAM in memtest and they returned 0 errors. My system runs fine with the Windows 8 feature turned off, it just seems peculiar since I had it working fine with the feature set to enabled before.
Any ideas?
