Hello everyone,

I have a huge issue right now.
I've bought a toshiba laptot satellite c55-a-1n6 with windows 8 included.

I've tryed to first install windows 7 from a USB stick (a student version i've got from my uni) in order to remove windows 8 and then dual boot with ubuntu.
However, the windows 7 installer failed (just stopped without any further information) and since i have two issues:
1) The windows installer still show up at boot. When i click on it, it's telling me something related to \$windows-bt\...\winload.efi which I can't find on my computeur. I want to to remove that stupid thing from my hard-drive but just can't find how. I've tryed the Disk cleanup utility: no results.
I then tryed bcdedit from command prompt and deleting the Windows Installer that show up there: same result, nothing. It's id is set to <default> and why i try a /delete <default> /cleanup it's telling me there's no such file. Great.
2) The second issue is related to the fact that since I had that failure, my computer REFUSES to boot on usb stick. I've tryed everything from bios, safe boot, fast boot, UEFI ... nothing happens except the choose OS to boot from.

Many told me to use a windows 7 disk but i don't want to. USB stick should do it.
So basicaly, if I dont have a win 7 disk (and i'm not going to have one), how should i proceed to::
1) Remove that stupid failed install
2) Enable my computer to boot on USB drives.

Regards
