Hi guys.

I have a laptop that I would like to upgrade its CPU. Unfortunately I am having trouble finding a standalone CPU to buy so that I can upgrade my laptop by myself.

I have a Toshiba Qosmio F55-Q504 laptop which has an Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 processor (2.0 GHz)

I would like to upgrade it to something at 2.4 GHz or above.

If anyone could lead me to a site where I can purchase CPUs or if someone could recommend one specifically to me, I would greatly appreciate that.

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

Unfortunately, no :(. The CPU you have is currently the only one your laptop supports. I think your best bet would be to buy an entirely new laptop due to it's low specifications. I have one lying around that I'd be willing to sell for around $150. The CPU is an Intel 2.8GHz dual core.

Could you send me a full list of the specs of that laptop? Thank you

I would PM you the specs but I'm out and I can't do that on my phone. It has a Intel core duo? 2.8GHz CPU, 3gb of DDR2 RAM, 320gb HDD, working CD drive, working battery, 15.4" screen, and a built in WiFi card. Some of they keyboard keys are slightly loose but still easily usable. The programs I've tested on it are FL studio, Open Office, Firefox, spotify, half life 2, minecraft, and a few other indie games. All of these programs work 100% without any issues. I've owned it for almost a year and have loved it. There are no known hardware problems :). Right now I'm just looking to get money for a better gaming PC than the one I currently have. Thanks for your consideration!
