No display on my Samsung S27c350

Just got bought a a Samsung display, when i connect it to my GPU (Asus readon HD 7850) no display is showing when i start the computer, but when i connect it to the on board hdmi it shows instant my disktop. What on earth could be going on.
I have already set the display priority to PCIE in BIOS.

Okay just want to make sure, do you have your power supply plugged into the card as well? It needs a 6-pin connector plugged into it from your power supply.

Yep, my old monitor syncmaster p2270HD workd fine with the gpu via HDMI.

Breaking News. When i used my old monitor to access my bios, I tried to switch the HDMI cable to my new monitor and it showed the display, but when i restarted the computer it didn't come up with anything on the screen as usual ... Really annoying

I cannot figure out why there is an issue being cause. I do not see anything in their specifications that could conflict. Hopefully someone can answer. Sorry dude.
