Is it safe for the sata cable to be touching the PCB side of the GPU?

Hi,

I recently installed a second GPU in to my computer, but in doing so I had to move stuff around such as my HDDs, so the cables are all over the place.

The Sata cable which links to the PSU is touching the PCB side of the GPU and I'm really worried since it looks like rubber/plastic so I'm scared that it might burn through and damage my PC because of the heat.

As you can see, cable management is pretty much non-existent in my case :p
There's literally no room left in my case to move the cables/wires around. It could be tidied up a little bit, but not by much so I can't exactly find a way of making the sata cable not touch the PCB.

Do you think that it's ok, or is it deemed unsafe?

Regards,
Jared.

There's no issue with the insulated cables touching the back side of the card. If the VRAM chips will die before they get hot enough to melt the cable insulation. However, the cable clutter isn't helping with air flow. If nothing else, try to bundle them all together into as small a bundle as possible and use some wire ties to hold them.
