So I made this build according to my budget.

My intention is to play games such as Arma 2/3, Battlefield 4 and other games (on ultra/highest). I also want to watch twitch streams from time to time. Finally it gets pretty hot in my house due to bad circulation/spacing so the fan needs criticizing.

Will I be able to play these games and the 'next gen' games on highest/higher qualities and not overheat (as my current system is)?

Any suggestions/improvements are welcome.

It's fine to go with a after market cooler they tend to be more quiet and they cool a bit better then a stock heatsink. I don't see a problem with that however yes you won't be able to overclock but I think you now that buying a h87 board and a non overclock sku'ed i5. Overall very solid build.

Thanks guys, I know the cooler is a little overboard but I went with a stock cooler with my current system and I have to sit with an external fan on so it doesn't overheat. And yeah I have no intention of overclocking.

Thanks again.

Naw, not overkill. Think of it as you are ensuring that your components will be kept cool during their lifespan. Also, you won't have to listen to that annoying stock fan sound.
